Yes. When you click New Product<\/strong> from the items list in the invoice, the same product add form opens. The tracking type you choose in the Inventory Management<\/strong> section is saved in the product data, appears on its page in Products & Services<\/strong><\/a>, and applies to it in all later sales and purchase transactions, including the invoice you added it from.<\/p>\n

The available tracking types: Serial Number<\/strong>, Lot Number<\/strong>, Expiry Date<\/strong>, Lot Number And Expiry Date<\/strong> and Quantity Only<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> The Tracking Type<\/strong> field appears only if the Inventory and Product Tracking<\/strong> apps are enabled, and when you check Track Stock<\/strong>, choosing a tracking type becomes required. You can’t add a tracking type to services.
