Your company’s name in the system is the Business Name<\/strong>, and it appears in invoices, receipts, and the documents addressed to clients. You can find it or edit it from Account Settings<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finding or Editing the Company Name<\/h3>\n

  1. From the main menu click Settings<\/strong> then Account Settings<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. In the Business Information<\/strong> section you will find the Business Name<\/strong> field, which contains your company’s current name.<\/li>\n
  3. To edit it, type the new name, then click Save<\/strong> at the top of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/strong> The business name field is mandatory, so the settings cannot be saved while it is empty. And editing the account settings requires the permission Edit General Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    I Changed the Name and It Didn’t Change in the Printed Invoice?<\/h3>\n

    The invoice designs display the company name through the variable {%business_name%}<\/strong> in the Business Data<\/strong> section. So if the name was written manually in the design, it won’t change automatically:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    1. Open Invoice\/Quotation Designs<\/strong><\/a> and click Edit<\/strong> next to the design used.<\/li>\n
    2. Click the company data area or Business Data<\/strong>, and replace the manually written name with the variable {%business_name%}.<\/li>\n
    3. Click Save<\/strong> in the window then Save<\/strong> for the design.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Notes<\/h3>\n

      • The new name appears in all the documents when they are printed or sent after the edit, including previous documents if their designs use the variable.<\/li>\n
      • In the same Business Information<\/strong> section you can edit the logo, the contact numbers, the address, and the tax number.<\/li>\n
