Sometimes a list shows several pages (for example, 4 pages), but when you go to the next page, the same records from the first page appear, or the page doesn’t change. This can happen in any list, such as invoices, estimates, offers, clients and products, for one of the following reasons:<\/p>\n

1. The saved sort order uses a repeated field<\/h3>\n

The system saves the last order you chose in Sort By<\/strong> and opens the list with it every time. If the list is sorted by a field whose value repeats across many records, such as the client name, the date or the payment status, the same records may appear on more than one page.<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/strong> Open the sort menu (Sort By<\/strong>, or the name of the current sort field) and choose Number<\/strong> or Created Date<\/strong>, then move between pages. The new sort order is saved automatically.<\/p>\n

2. The page didn’t finish loading<\/h3>\n

If your connection is weak, or your browser has an old copy of the page saved, the first page may stay on screen when you move to the next one.<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/strong> Refresh the page by pressing Ctrl + F5<\/strong>, or try another browser.<\/p>\n

3. A filter or search is applied to the list<\/h3>\n

If a filter or search term is applied, the list shows only matching results, and the pages may look unexpected.<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/strong> Click Reset<\/strong> and try again, or use filters to reduce the number of pages and reach the record directly.<\/p>\n

Other ways to reach the record you need<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Use search or filters (such as the date, number or client) instead of moving between pages.<\/li>\n
  • Reverse the sort order so the end of the list appears first: choose the current sort field again from the sort menu.<\/li>\n
  • If a box for going to a page number appears, type the page number in it directly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If the problem continues<\/h3>\n

    Contact technical support and send:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • The name of the list where the problem appears.<\/li>\n
    • A screenshot of the top of the list showing the number of pages, the sort order and the filters.<\/li>\n
    • The page link before and after clicking the next page.<\/li>\n
    • Whether the same records appear on the second page, or the page doesn’t change at all.<\/li>\n
