There is no set number of cost centers in the plans; cost centers are a feature that is either available or unavailable<\/strong> depending on your plan. If the feature is included in your plan, you can add as many cost centers as you need with no maximum. If it isn’t included, you won’t be able to add cost centers until you upgrade.<\/p>\n

How Do I Know If Cost Centers Are Available in My Plan?<\/h3>\n

  1. Open Add Cost Center<\/strong><\/a> (or click Add Cost Center<\/strong> from Cost Centers<\/strong><\/a>).<\/li>\n
  2. If the add cost center form appears, the feature is available in your plan with no limit on the number of cost centers.<\/li>\n
  3. If a message appears saying the feature isn’t available in your plan, with an upgrade button, your current plan doesn’t include cost centers. Click the upgrade button to choose a plan that includes them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You can also review your current plan from Account Information<\/strong><\/a>, under Account Plan<\/strong>. Cost centers don’t appear under Plan Consumption<\/strong>, as they aren’t counted against your plan. To change your plan, click Upgrade Plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    • You need the permission to manage cost centers to add them, even if the feature is available in your plan.<\/li>\n
    • Cost centers appear under Accounting<\/strong>, and require the Accounting app to be activated.<\/li>\n
