<\/span><b>&#8220;Invoiced,&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the system automatically generates a <\/span><b>sales invoice<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the same data as the payment certificate, and it&#8217;s added to the <\/span><b>&#8220;Invoices&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab on the project view screen, as well as appearing in the general <\/span><b>&#8220;Manage Invoices&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> screen within the Sales module.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Data Automatically Populated on the Invoice<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Client and Currency:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> taken from the contract linked to the payment certificate, and <\/span><b>can&#8217;t be edited<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Invoice Lines:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> include the work items listed on the payment certificate, with the unit price, the <\/span><b>new quantity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> entered on the payment certificate, and any associated taxes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Invoice Summary:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> includes the <\/span><b>advance payment recovery<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> value (if any) and the <\/span><b>net payable<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> amount.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Retention:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> automatically added to the invoice&#8217;s <\/span><b>&#8220;Retention&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> field, linked to a <\/span><b>&#8220;[Client] Clients Retention&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> account automatically created under <\/span><b>Current Assets \u2192 Accounts Receivable<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Linking Between the Payment Certificate and the Invoice<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>invoice number<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> appears as a hyperlink at the top of the payment certificate&#8217;s view screen, once the invoice is saved.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there&#8217;s an <\/span><b>advance payment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> linked to the contract with a sufficient unsettled balance, it&#8217;s automatically distributed onto the resulting invoice for the value of the advance payment recovery calculated on the payment certificate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Restrictions on the Invoice After Creation<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure no mismatch occurs between the payment certificate&#8217;s data and the resulting invoice:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The invoice&#8217;s line items can&#8217;t be edited<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (quantity, unit price, taxes, or the item itself).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Lines can&#8217;t be added or removed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the invoice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only the following can be edited: <\/span><b>cost centers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>salesperson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or adding <\/span><b>adjustments\/discounts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (calculated after the retention deduction, without affecting its value).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The retention value itself can&#8217;t be edited<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; only the <\/span><b>retention account<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can be changed if the routing setting is set to <\/span><b>&#8220;Specify per Each.&#8221;<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The retention value also appears within the <\/span><b>invoice summary<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the printable
