Once the branches app is enabled:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>The <strong>bids<\/strong>, <strong>projects<\/strong>, <strong>cost sheets<\/strong>, and other related entities list appear displayed or filtered by the current branch only \u2014 so the user only sees their own branch&#8217;s records.<\/li>\n<li>When selecting a <strong>work item<\/strong> or a <strong>material\/service<\/strong> within the bill of quantities or cost sheet, only the items defined under the same branch appear (unless they&#8217;re shared across branches).<\/li>\n<li>When <strong>converting a bid into a project or<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>cloning<\/strong> a record (such as a bid or project), the new record is created under the <strong>current logged-in branch<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>cost center tree<\/strong> automatically generated upon activating a contract also follows the branch logic, with cost centers created within the context of the branch linked to the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> if the branches app isn&#8217;t enabled on the account, the Construction module works normally without any additional branch-related restrictions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":39,"template":"","categories":[15599],"tags":[17702,17699,17695,17700,17696,17701,17697,17698],"class_list":["post-147358","faq","type-faq","status-publish","hentry","category-construction","tag-branch-integration-in-construction","tag-cloning-a-record-within-the-current-branch","tag-construction-module-and-branches-feature","tag-cost-center-tree-and-branch-logic","tag-does-construction-support-branches","tag-enabling-the-branches-app-in-daftra","tag-filtering-bids-and-projects-by-branch","tag-work-items-shared-across-branches"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Does the Construction module work with the branches feature?
