Go to Inventory<\/strong>\u00a0\u2192\u00a0Inventory & Products Settings<\/strong>, then open the\u00a0Product Settings<\/strong>\u00a0card and go to\u00a0“Default System Values,”<\/strong>\u00a0scroll down to the\u00a0“<\/strong>Inventory Item Types”<\/strong> section, select “Both Services & Products,”<\/strong>\u00a0then click\u00a0“Save.”<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The three available options are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Products Only<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 for a business that offers only products, allowing you to track their quantities, manage them as inventory units, and issue vouchers to record incoming and outgoing stock movements according to inventory settings.<\/li>\n
  • Services Only<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 for a business that offers only services, allowing you to specify a duration for them and use them in bookings and projects.<\/li>\n
  • Both Services & Products<\/strong> \u2014 for a business that offers both.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This setting controls what can be added to the inventory.
