The Unit Cost field is filled in automatically once the item is selected, based on the “Unit Price Calculation” setting specified in the construction settings.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • If the setting is on Average Price:<\/strong> the value is calculated based on the product’s average inventory value.<\/li>\n
  • If the setting is on Purchase Price:<\/strong> the value is calculated from the product’s recorded purchase price.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The user can always edit the value manually after it’s automatically filled in.<\/p>\n

    Note:<\/strong> a tip appears next to the field explaining the calculation mechanism and pointing out that the calculation method can be changed from the “Unit Price Calculation” setting in the construction settings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
