You can record a public holiday, weekend, or no-shift day on a specific employee’s attendance record by editing the attendance day. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. From “Attendance<\/strong>” open “Attendance Days<\/strong>” and navigate to the required day.<\/li>\n
  2. Click “Edit<\/strong>” to open the attendance day edit form.<\/li>\n
  3. In the “Status<\/strong>” section select “Time Off<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n
  4. From the “Time Off Type<\/strong>” dropdown select the appropriate type:\n
      \n
    • Weekend:<\/strong> If the day is a weekly day off for the employee.<\/li>\n
    • No Shift:<\/strong> If no shift was assigned to the employee on that day.<\/li>\n
    • Public Holiday:<\/strong> If the day is an official holiday \u2014 a list of assigned holidays appears in (Date \u2014 Holiday Name) format. If the holiday is not in the list select Other<\/strong> and enter the holiday name manually in the Holiday Name<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Click “Save<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Note:<\/strong> This edit is treated as a manual edit and affects payroll calculations and attendance flags according to the system settings.
