How to Reset Quantities in Inventory

Step 1:

1. From the main menu, go to “Settings.”
2. Navigate to “Account Information” to verify your details.
3. Click “Download Backup” to save a copy of your current data before making any changes.
4. Make sure the “Products” option is enabled so that product options appear.
5. Click “Download.”

Step 2:

1. Open the file you downloaded.
2. Delete all columns except the “Product Name” column.
3. Add a new column called Quantity.
4. In this column, enter the value 0 in all rows for every product.
5. Save the file after editing.

Step 3:

1. From the main menu, go to “Inventory.”
2. Select “Manage Stocktaking ”.
3. Click “Add Stocktaking”.
4. Choose the warehouse.
5. Click “Do Stocktaking.”
6. From the stocktaking page, click “Import.”
7. In Delimiters select “Comma Separated” (CSV) as the format.
8. Click “Next Step.”

Step 4:

1. In the import window, you will see mapping fields.
2. Map the “Name” column in your file to the “Product” field.
3. Map the “Count” column to the “Physical Count” field.
4. Check the box “Skip errors While importing”.
5. Click “Import”.
